Eddie Wade - Baritone
Baritone Eddie Wade was born in Yorkshire and studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and at the National Opera Studio, London, sponsored by The Royal Opera, Covent Garden. He currently studies with Robert Dean and lives in Wellington, Somerset, UK.
Eddie enjoys a full and varied operatic career and has worked with most of the major U.K. opera houses. His concert work has taken him throughout the U.K. and into Europe. His dark Dramatic Baritone is in demand both in opera, where his characterisations are highly acclaimed, and as a concert & oratorio singer, where he uses his many baritone colours to their full potential.

Eddie Wade will sing the role of the Baron Douphol (La Traviata) for Welsh National Opera in the Autumn 2009 in Cardiff and on tour. He will also sing the role of Giorgio Germont for WNO in Southampton on the 25th & 27th of November.
Eddie will return to the Royal Opera, Covent Garden in the Spring and Summer of 2010 to sing further performances of Baron Douphol in Richard Eyre's wonderful production of La Traviata.
